Science News: Physical Magazines in the Library

This guide is to help 8th grade students find current articles in science (no more than 3 weeks old) to present in class.

Important Reminder

Please make sure that your article is no more than a month old. If you are presenting in February, then December 2016 will too old!  Double check the magazine dates! If you are having trouble, see Mrs. Boyer for help!

How to cite a magazine using MLA format

How to Cite a Magazine Article in MLA 8

The structure of a citation for a magazine article in print or on a website in MLA 8 includes the following:

Author’s Last name, First name. “Title of magazine article.” Title of magazine, First name Last name of any other contributors (if applicable), Version (if applicable), Numbers (such as a volume and issue number), Publication date, Page numbers or URL.
